Dan Mason
Founder and Head Coach of Masonry Fitness
I've been in the fitness industry since 2019, and I've trained myself now since 2017. I grew up in a sporting background playing football and rugby from a young age, since then my focus in the gym has been on bodybuilding and functional training for sport performance.
My biggest passion through coaching is completely transforming clients, not only their body but also their mindset. I want my clients to not only look better for themselves but also to feel more confident and capable in all other aspects of life. Whilst I love these drastic changes I can make for people, I also love the small little things in life that clients tell me. A favourite example of mine would be being told that my client can now physically keep up playing with their kids all day.
My main area of expertise is hypertrophy training in the gym, as well as nutrition for performance and results. However, I also have a good understanding of strength training and sport specific/Functional training methods .
